20 Hour Basic Unarmed Security Officer Course
This course meets the requirements of the Illinois Division of Professional Regulations. This course provides the security fundamentals for new officers and experienced employees, who want to earn a state certification in this course. Students can then received a PERC (permanent employee registration card) which is needed for employment with private security agencies.

Patrol procedures

Use of force
Arrest and control techniques
Law regarding arrest
Licensing
Report writing
Bomb Threat
Terrorism
The law on private security/reporting to law enforcement agencies
****Course Fee: $55.00****
All individuals are required to Pre-register with a down payment of $25.00, or they can pay in full.
This will go towards the $55.00 class fee with the remainder due at the start of class.
The $25.00 is non-refundable due to the down payment reserves a seat in the class.
PERC card application completion fee: $10.00. We will provide and help you complete the application to be mailed to the Department Of Financial and Professional Regulations.
Classes are Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
